Thanks to Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC) available through the Health Insurance Marketplace, a historic 21.3 million Americans signed up for affordable health insurance coverage this year. These tax credits are set to expire in 2025 and without an extension, millions of Americans could lose their APTC, and as a result, no longer be able to afford their health insurance coverage. Families USA is working on collecting stories from individuals that have benefitted from APTC to make the case to Congress that APTC should be extended.
